ABU DHABI: President Asif Ali Zardari has arrived in Abu Dhabi on a four-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), aimed at further strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.
Upon his arrival at Zayed International Airport, President Zardari was received by the UAE’s Minister of Justice Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi.
First Lady Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi are accompanying the president, while Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE Shafqat Ali Khan was also present at the reception.
According to official sources, the visit will continue until January 29. During his stay, President Zardari is scheduled to hold meetings with the UAE leadership to review all aspects of bilateral relations.
The discussions will focus on enhancing cooperation in trade, economic partnership, defense, security, and people-to-people contacts.
The visit reflects the strong relations between Pakistan and the UAE and underscores the shared commitment of both countries to further deepen their strategic partnership.
