ISLAMABAD: The Economic Coordination Committee at its meeting chaired by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar today approved the issuance of government’s guarantee amounting to Rs9500 million for Hyderabad-Sukkur motorway.
The ECC approved Rs12 billion for NDMA for procurement of relief items to replenish its reserves.
It also approved fixation of maximum retail prices of forty nine drugs on the basis of being lower as compared to their prices in neighboring countries.
The committee approved supplementary and technical supplementary grants including 839.129 million rupees in favor of New Gwadar International Airport and 700 million rupees for Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
An amount of Rs9145 million was approved for execution of coal fired power project Jamshoro and Rs110.653 million for National Counter Terrorism Authority.
