ISLAMABAD: The embattled PTI did not vote for the tit for tat move in the National Assembly against the resolution passed by US House of Representatives.

A few days back, the US House of Representatives passed a non-binding resolution with 368 members supporting and seven against stating that allegations of interference and irregularities in Feb 8th election in Pakistan should be probed.

In reaction to the resolution, Pakistan had stated that the US House of Representatives passed the resolution without a proper knowledge of Pakistan’s political landscape.

Talking to media, PTI Chairman Gohar Ali Khan said that his party neither had seen the content of the resolution nor had been taken into confidence about it.

He said his party would not support any tit for tat move against the US House of Representatives resolution.

He said that the government should disclose the reports of foreign organizations about the irregularities committed in the general elections of Feb 8, 2024.

The mandate of the PTI was stolen and the party was pushed to the wall with its key leaders arrested or intimidated.
