PTI tigers vent anger against Gill at reception for ex-president

Say Gill sensationalizing party issues for his YouTube channel's viewership and personal gain.

‎NEW YORK: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) New York organized a reception at a local hotel to welcome former President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi upon his arrival in New York.

‎The event was attended by PTI leaders and workers from across the United States, particularly New York.

‎During the event, PTI New York Tigers strongly condemned recent remarks made by party leader Shahbaz Gill against senior PTI member Atif Khan. They stated that Gill’s baseless accusations are not only fueling divisions within PTI in the United States but have also sparked anger among party workers.

‎Former Senior Vice President of PTI New York Zamir Chaudhry representing the PTI Tigers voiced his protest directly to Dr. Arif Alvi. He urged the former president to advise Shahbaz Gill to refrain from creating rifts within the party and to stop launching baseless tirades against a dedicated leader like Atif Khan. He also criticized Gill for sensationalizing issues for YouTube viewership and personal gain.

‎Zamir Chaudhry emphasized that the current political climate calls for prudence and unity, suggesting that collective and positive efforts are needed to secure the release of PTI Chairman Imran Khan. The PTI Tigers warned that Shahbaz Gill’s conduct is tantamount to sabotaging the party’s unity and the ongoing campaign for Imran Khan’s release.
