Qatar to make $3 bn investment in Pakistan, says PM

ISLAMABAD: The government has claimed that the fruits of the visit to Qatar of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have started appearing as Qatar has announced to make an investment of three billion dollars in Pakistan.

 After the visit, a joint communique was issued in which the two sides expressed their resolve to enhance bilateral cooperation in different sectors.

Prime Minister Sharif has expressed gratitude to Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani for his warm hospitality during his two-day visit to Qatar. In a post on social media platform X, he said Pakistan cherishes and values its special friendship with Qatar.

The Prime Minister thanked Chairperson of Qatar Museum Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani in response to her post regarding his visit. He said gracious gesture from the Chairperson of Qatar Museum reaffirms the enduring bonds between the two nations.
