Rescue team pull out a 3 year old girl from debris after 65 hours of Turkey quake

Turkey: Rescue teams rescued a 3-year-old girl from a wreckage after 65 hours of 6.6 magnitude earthquake which shook Izmir on Saturday morning, knocking down several buildings. So far, the death toll has risen to 83 and the number of injured to more than 900.

Turkish Emergency Services AFAD teams rescued 104 people by midnight on Saturday, with three-year-old Alif and her mother and three brothers in a completely collapsed building in the northern suburb of Iyamir. Her mother, Sir Perinek, and her twin sisters were rescued on Saturday while her brother’s body was found, however, teams have been working since then to get to where the child baby was.

As the team’s firefighter, Ahmed Yavuz told the media that when the girl was pulled out of the rubble, the little girl had her eyes open and conscious.

Moreover, there are no statistics yet on how many people are still in the other five buildings. The rescue operation is still going on.
