ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has issued notice on Monday to Prime Minister Imran Khan on his participation in the PTI Lawyers Forum held last week in Convention Centre Islamabad.

Supreme Court Justice Qazi Faiz Issa issued notice to Prime Minister Imran Khan for attending a function of lawyers at the Notice Convention Center. Why are you abusing? This is a matter of interpretation of the constitution and fundamental rights. Apparently, the Prime Minister attended the convention in person.

In his remarks, Justice Qazi Faiz Issa said that the Prime Minister could not be in line with any particular group. He supported a group by attending the lawyers’ function. ?

The Additional Advocate General took the position that every political party has a wing, Article 17 of the Constitution allows for sit-ins, to which Justice Qazi Faiz Issa said that the status of the Prime Minister is very high. If it was in the hotel, there was another thing, Tax Pair’s Avenue was used for the ceremony. The convention center is not anyone’s private property.

He remarked that Advocate General Punjab has his own responsibilities. He participated in activities which have nothing to do with it. How can he participate in such activities after becoming Advocate General Punjab? Can a Supreme Court judge hold a panel of lawyers?

During the conversation with the Additional Advocate General, Justice Qazi Faiz Issa said that the Prime Minister used the Convention Center in his private capacity, do whatever you want, but did the Prime Minister correct it by taking this step? You are the principal law officer of the province, you may lose your job.

It may be recalled that the court, while hearing the case between the two citizens, expressed frustration over the non-appearance of Advocate General Punjab and remarked that Advocate General attended the convention of PTI Lawyers Forum at the Convention Center but did not appear before the court.

The Supreme Court issued notices to Prime Minister Imran Khan and directed the Chief Justice of Pakistan to constitute a bench on the issue, while notices were sent to the Attorney General, Advocate General Punjab, Convention Center in charge and concerned ministries.
