ISLAMABAD: At a meeting with elected representatives of the Pakistan Bar Council and Supreme Court Bar Association, Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa said the Supreme Court will be issuing cause list in advance for four weeks every month.
This he said would help parties fully prepare their cases and attend proceedings. The chief justice announced the decision on the request of the elected representatives that the monthly proposed cause list be issued to enable the ASCs, AORs and the parties to fully prepare their cases and to attend the court.
The proposed cause list for the four weeks commencing from Monday October 2, 2023, has been issued. Qazi Faez Isa took oath as the chief justice of Pakistan upon the retirement of Justice Umar Ata Bandial a week ago.
