Schools Reopen Across Punjab, Islamabad After Summer Vacations
LAHORE: Following the end of summer vacations, schools and other educational institutions across Punjab and Islamabad have reopened.
In Lahore, schools for younger students will reopen on September 1, while in the rest of the province, classes for higher-level students have already resumed.
Authorities have emphasized that schools will follow all necessary safety and hygiene measures in the wake of heavy monsoon rains and flooding. Parents and teachers have welcomed the decision, noting the importance of in-person learning for students’ overall development.
Education officials have also confirmed that academic schedules will proceed as planned, with students encouraged to catch up on any missed lessons from previous months. Extra support and resources will be provided to help students transition back to regular classes.
