Sikhs join Pakistanis’ protest outside Indian HC in London

LONDON: Tensions flared outside the Indian High Commission in London as Pakistani and Sikh protesters united in a fiery demonstration against what they called “baseless allegations” leveled by India against Pakistan.

Chanting slogans and waving banners, demonstrators accused Indian diplomatic missions of acting as “hubs of terrorism.” Sikh leaders vowed they would never allow Punjab’s soil to be used against Pakistan, declaring solidarity with the Pakistani cause.

“India’s water terrorism won’t go unanswered,” one protester warned, referencing growing fears over India’s threats to scrap the Indus Waters Treaty.

Meanwhile, similar scenes unfolded in Paris, where members of the Pakistani and Kashmiri diaspora rallied in front of Indian diplomatic offices. Protesters condemned India’s hostile rhetoric and reaffirmed their unwavering support for Pakistan’s military.

The demonstrations reflect rising global diaspora anger amid escalating regional tensions in South Asia.
