Sindh Strikers Claim Top Position in Boxing Championship

HYDERABAD: The National Boxing Championship concluded in Hyderabad, where Sindh Strikers secured the first position by winning seven gold medals.

The championship, organized under the Pakistan Army at Hyderabad Club, featured participation from 210 boxers representing ten teams. According to the final standings, Sindh Strikers finished first, Punjab Thunders came second, and Balochistan Eagles secured third place.

K-P Titans’ Zameer Ali was declared the best male boxer of the championship, while Ayesha from Sindh Strikers was named the best female boxer.

At the closing ceremony, medals and trophies were distributed among the winning boxers. According to Boxing Federation President Nasir Ijaz, the purpose of the championship was to identify new talent and prepare athletes for international events.
