FAISALABAD: As many as people, including a woman and her four children, were killed when a car crashed into a truck due to thick fog in Faisalabad on Saturday morning.
According to the police, the accident occured in the Tandianwala area of Faisalabad where the Alto car crashed into a truck loaded with sugarcanes. The car was coming to Faisalabad from Lahore
The deceased woman was identified as Rabia Bibi. Her children were aged from one years to 13 years. The other deceased was also a one year old child, who was relative of the woman. The car was being driven by a man, identified as Shahzeb, who was critically injured.
Police and Rescue 1122 officials reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies and the injured to hospital. The police said that the driver of the truck escaped after the accident.
