TIMARGARAH: In a successful joint operation, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and district police killed six most-wanted terrorists in Lower Dir.
According to officials, the terrorists were involved in multiple acts of terrorism, including the attack on Badwan Pul police post and the martyrdom of Constable Muhammad Ismail.
The killed terrorists include Khaleel-ur-Rehman alias Saddam, Najam-ud-Din alias Abu Jana, and Kifayatullah, while identification of other slain militants is underway.
Heavy weapons were recovered from their possession, including six Kalashnikov rifles and three hand grenades. Search operations are ongoing to apprehend their fleeing accomplices.
IG Police and Additional IG CTD have praised the operation’s success.
