Cricket South Africa (CSA) has officially announced the venues for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027, set to take place in October and November 2027.
The announcement was made during the formation of the Local Organizing Committee for the tournament.
Out of the 54 matches, 44 will be played in South Africa across eight venues: Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein, East London, Paarl and Kimberley.
The remaining 10 matches will be hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia. This will be Namibia’s first-ever World Cup hosting experience, while Zimbabwe previously co-hosted the 2003 edition alongside South Africa and Kenya.
For South Africa, this marks a return as World Cup host nation after more than two decades since the 2003 World Cup. Fans are eagerly awaiting the historic tournament, which will once again feature the world’s best cricketing nations battling for the coveted title.
The 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup will be a jointly hosted event by South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe, highlighting the growing influence of southern Africa in the cricketing world.
