KARACHI: Trading on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) opened on a strong note today, with significant gains recorded in the market.
The KSE-100 Index climbed by 662 points, reaching 160,240 points at the start of trading, up from yesterday’s close of 159,578 points.
Meanwhile, the US dollar weakened slightly against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank market, falling by 2 paisa from PKR 280.86 to PKR 280.84.
The positive momentum in the stock market, combined with the slight strengthening of the rupee, signals a promising start to the day for investors.
