Thousands March in Islamabad to Show Solidarity with Kashmiris

ISLAMABAD: Thousands of people took to the streets to participate in the Kashmir Solidarity Day rally in different parts of the country on Thursday.

In this regard, a big rally was organized by the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs in Islamabad. The march began at China Chowk and proceeded to D-Chowk, drawing participants from all walks of life, federal government officials, students, women, children, civil society members, and political party representatives.

The air was vibrant with Pakistani and Kashmiri flags waving, while participants chanted slogans condemning human rights violations in Indian-administered Kashmir. The march was marked by a powerful display of unity, with people of all ages coming together for a single cause: standing with the Kashmiri people.

As the rally reached D-Chowk, a siren echoed through the city at 10 a.m., signaling a minute of silence to honor the martyrs of Kashmir. The solemn moment was followed by speeches reinforcing Pakistan’s commitment to supporting Kashmir.

Federal Minister Amir Muqam, who led the rally, praised the courage of the Kashmiri people and vowed that Pakistan would continue to amplify their struggle on every international platform.
