CHAGHAI: A collision between an oil tanker and a passenger vehicle in Chagai district left 10 people dead and 6 others injured.
According to police sources, the accident occurred near the Reko Diq site road, close to the town of Nokundi, when the oil tanker and the vehicle collided head-on.
The crash resulted in the immediate deaths of several individuals, including the driver of the passenger vehicle. Police have identified the driver as Khudai Nazar, a resident of Taftan. The other victims, according to police, are believed to be Afghan nationals who were reportedly trying to illegally cross into Iran via Pakistan.
After the accident, the bodies of the deceased and the injured were transported to the Nokundi Hospital, where three of the injured individuals are reported to be in critical condition.
