PISHIN (BALOCHISTAN): Two children lost their lives and 10 people including four policemen were injured in a blast in the Pishin town of Balochistan on Saturday.
According to media reports, the blast occurred at a Bazaar near the police lines. One vehicle was completely damaged while other cars and motorcycles were also effected in the explosion.
The police confirmed that two children were killed and 10 other people were injured in the blast. The police also said that four of its personnel were also injured in the explosion. The injure persons have been shifted to hospital by rescue staff, and police and local people.
The police said that it was yet to be confirmed what cause the blast and whether it was a terrorist activity or some other incident.
Law and order situation in the province of Balochistan has been very poor in the recent years. There have been repeated attacks on security forces especially the army and police by terrorist groups.
