Undergraduate Admission Tests in Balochistan Postponed
ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has postponed the Higher Education Aptitude Test (HEAT) and Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) scheduled for February 1, 2026, in Balochistan.
In an official statement, HEC cited the current security situation in Quetta as the reason for the decision, which will specifically apply to candidates from Balochistan.
HEC further stated that the new dates for both tests will be announced at a later time. Candidates have been advised to regularly check the official websites of HEC and the Educational Testing Council (ETC) for updates regarding the rescheduling.
This move is expected to alleviate concerns for candidates in Balochistan, ensuring that the tests will be conducted when the situation is more conducive to a safe and secure environment.
