ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Law and Justice Barrister Aqeel Malik has stated that if the sons of PTI founder Imran Khan, Qasim Khan and Suleman Khan, wish to return to Pakistan the government will welcome them.
Speaking on a talk show, he said the government had no objection to the arrival of Imran Khan’s sons and would extend a warm welcome to them, saying, “We will say ‘Ji Aayan Nu’ to the sons of the founder of PTI.”
He added that there was no reason for the government to create any obstacles in the arrival of Imran Khan’s sons, and the government will not impede any meetings in this regard. However, Malik pointed out that the sons should have returned to Pakistan two years ago, but they did not.
In response to claims made by Qasim Khan and Suleman Khan in a recent interview, Barrister Malik noted, “They mentioned that they applied for a visa to Pakistan. We had previously offered them a visa within 24 hours, but they did not make any contact. If they did not wish to meet their father, that is their choice, but they should not spread falsehoods.”
