WASHINGTON: The White House has announced that President Donald Trump will make a decision within the next two weeks on whether the United States will become involved in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.

During a press briefing, White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt stated, “President Donald Trump will decide in the coming two weeks whether the U.S. will engage in the Israel-Iran conflict.”

Quoting the president, Leavitt told reporters, “Given the real possibility that talks with Iran may or may not happen in the near future, I will make a decision within the next two weeks on whether or not to move forward.”

Leavitt addressed concerns among Trump supporters about potential U.S. military involvement, urging them to “trust President Trump.”

She praised the president’s previous term, saying that his “peace through strength” approach had helped keep the world safer.

As tensions between Israel and Iran continue to escalate, Washington’s role remains a critical factor. The coming weeks may determine whether the U.S. takes a diplomatic or military path in addressing the crisis.
