Projects worth over $25 bn completed under CPEC in 10 years

Ambassador says CPEC is a game changer which has altered entire economic landscape in region.

BEIJING: The Belt and Road Forum is crucial opportunity for all member states to create a roadmap for the future in view of the past achievements. Over 50 projects worth $25 dollars have been completed under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) during the last 10 years.  

This was stated by Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Moinul Haquehe in an interview with In an interview with Belt and Road Television. He said this forum provided a platform for international cooperation for solidarity, development, economic and social welfare and poverty eradication. 

He termed CPEC a game changer to alter entire economic landscape of the region besides playing a far-reaching role in the social and economic development of Pakistan.

Terming Pakistan-China Friendship a bright example for the world, the ambassador said ties between the two countries depicted not only a strong political relationship but also showed a heart-to-heart connection among the people of both nations.

The ambassador expressed pleasure that Chinese nationals consider Pakistanis as an iron brothers and this expression is only reserve for Pakistanis.
