Kashmiris to observe black day on Oct 27

India invaded Kashmir on Oct 27, 1947, and has since then occupied it.

SRINAGAR: Kashmiri people will observe October 27 as a Black Day against the illegal occupation of their area by Indian.

The day is observed by the Kashmiris in the Indian occupied Kashmir, Azad Kashmir as well as in other parts of the world.

In October 27, 1947 l, Indian troops invaded Jammu and Kashmir and occupied it in violation of Partition Plan of the subcontinent and against the Kashmiris’ aspirations.

The call for observance of the day has been given by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, according to Kashmir Media Service. The APHC has also appealed for complete shutdown in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on October 27.
