Achakzai for joint efforts to steer Pakistan out of crises

Says except Nawaz Sharif all other leaders are fomenting hatred and giving statements against neighboring countries.

QUETTA: Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai says that in the prevailing situation Pakistan cannot afford creating tension with any neighboring country.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, he regretted that except former prime minister and PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif, all other leaders were giving statements against many neighboring countries.

He said Pakistan is in crises and we need to steer it out these crises for which a roundtable conference was imperative. He said the constitution should be supreme and parliament should be the source of power.

Achakzai said by promoting trade with Afghanistan, Pakistan can earn a revenue of up to two billion dollars and in the current situation we need job opportunities for our youth.

He said nations around the world were working to promote good relations with their neighbors and form blocs to promote trade. We punished Nawaz Sharif for trying to develop trade and business relations with the neighbors of Pakistan, especially India.

He also said that he had advised his friends in the PDM not to cross limits in the opposition to former prime minister Imran Khan.

Achakzai also said that PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif had been standing with the constitution and as long as he remains steadfast in the path of the constitution, he will be supporting him.
