KARACHI: Former federal minister Senator Faisal Vawda has claimed that the PTI people have kept party founder and former prime minister Imran Khan in jail under an agreement with the government.

Addressing a press conference at the Karachi Customs House, Faisal Vawda said the Trump card will not work as the PTI people themselves do not want the founder to come out of jail. The guarantor of the PML-N to continue its government is the PTI. The PTI people have kept the founder in the jailĀ  under the agreement.

He said the Pakistan Customs Agents Association had written a letter that they gave Rs400 billion to the government of Pakistan under taxes but were facing issues.
He said that the army was being called for action against robbers and criminals in the no-go areas of Sindh and Punjab. When the army is called for everything, then they should also be praised.

“We have the army chief playing the role of a team leader. The army chief has already given instructions and I have come to solve your problems and you are ending the strike at my request today.”

On the other hand, Chairman All Pakistan Customs Agents Association Saifullah Khan announced to call of the protest.
