DUBAI: Pakistan is set to use three fast bowlers in its team crucial Champions Trophy match against India in Dubai today as names of the team have have emerged in media.
The Pakistan team will field three fast bowlers and a spinner.
According to sources, a meeting of the team management was held for finalizing 11 Pakistani players for the match with India. It was decided that the Pakistan team would take the field with three fast bowlers and one spinner.
According to sources, Babar Azam will open the innings against India. Imam-ul-Haq has also been included in the team.
The team management will decide on all-rounder Faheem Ashraf before the toss.
The eleven-member squad includes Babar Azam, Imam-ul-Haq, Saud Shakeel, Mohammad Rizwan, Agha Salman. Apart from this, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, Abrar Ahmed, Shaheen Afridi and Shoaib Akhtar have also been included in the squad.
The main match of the Champions Trophy between Pakistan and India will start at 1:30pm Pakistan time.
Pakistan lost to New Zealand in the first match. India has defeated Bangladesh in its first match of the series.
