QUETTA: At least seven people, including three security personnel, were martyred and several others were injured in a suicide attack by the banned BLA on an FC convoy on the Naushki-Dalbandan highway.
Several people have been injured in the attack, some of whom are in critical condition, and the injured are being transported by helicopter to Quetta for treatment.
Security sources said militants of the outlawed BLA carried out a landmine and suicide attack on the FC convoy this morning. Three FC personnel and two civilians were martyred in the suicide attack on the spot.
The security forces immediately retaliated against the terrorists, in the initial operation, three terrorists were killed. Security forces have cordoned off the entire area and started a search operation.
On the other hand, the police said that five people were killed and 35 injured in the explosion near a bus on the Naushki-Dalbandin highway, who were taken to Naushki Hospital for medical assistance.
They said two of the injured died during treatment in the hospital, after which the death toll rose to seven. Many of the injured are in critical condition.
