KSA & UAE condemns attack on Al Aqsa Mosque, reject Israeli plans to evacuate Palestinian homes in Jerusalem

Saudi Arabia and UAE condemened the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli forces, rejects Israeli plans to evacuate Palestinian homes in Jerusalem and impose Israeli sovereignty over them.

According to Saudi foreign ministry the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia rejects Israeli plans to evacuate Palestinian homes in Jerusalem and impose Israeli sovereignty over them. KSA stressed condemnation of any unilateral measures and violations of international legitimacy decisions. It is also made clear in the statement that these kind of anything might undermine the chances of resuming the peace process to achieve security and stability in the region.

Saudi Arabia renewed its stand with the Palestinian people, and supported all efforts aimed at reaching a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue. It has also shown its support in enabling the Palestinians to establish their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with international legitimacy decisions and the Arab Peace Initiative.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s permanent representative to the UN Abdallah Al-Mouallimi said that it is time for the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to help find a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and resolve other conflicts in the region.

On the other hand, the United Arab Emirates has also condemened the attack of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli forces, stressing the need for them to assume responsibility in accordance with international law.
