APAG Slams Indian Strikes on Pakistani Civilians, Urges Global Action

NEW YORK:The American Pakistani Advocacy Group (APAG) has strongly condemned India’s recent attacks on civilian areas in Pakistan. The organization called the strikes grossly irresponsible and warned of escalating tensions in South Asia.

APAG stressed that India has failed to provide credible evidence linking Pakistan to the recent Pahalgam terrorist incident. The group highlighted that no solid proof has been offered to Pakistan, the United States, or the European Union.

Pakistan’s Diplomatic Efforts Dismissed

Despite Pakistan’s offers for a neutral international investigation, India has rejected all proposals for mediation. Even the United Nations Secretary-General’s offer was declined twice.

The U.S. has repeatedly urged restraint. However, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s administration continues to pursue actions that endanger peace and regional stability.

APAG Calls for Global Accountability

“We urge President Donald Trump and the international community to act immediately,” said APAG President Ali Rashid. He emphasized the need to stop the escalation and hold those responsible for any civilian harm accountable.

The group warned that further silence could worsen the already fragile situation in the region.

Appeal for Peace and Unity

APAG is urging both Pakistan and India to adopt mutual restraint and avoid further violence. The organization appealed to the diaspora to remain united and not let overseas tensions divide their community in the U.S.

“Let us not allow conflict overseas to divide our unity at home. We are the same people. Let peace prevail,” the statement read.

APAG Reinforces Support for Peacebuilding

APAG reaffirmed its commitment to promoting peace, prosperity, and stability for Pakistan and the Pakistani American community. The group vowed to keep highlighting positive contributions from Pakistanis across the globe.
