Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and discussed important issues

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has called on Prime Minister Imran Khan. DG ISI Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed was also present in the meeting. The meeting also considered national security issues, human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir and persistent violations of the war pact by the Indian Army on the Line of Control.

The civil and military leadership strongly condemned the Machh tragedy and said that those who martyred innocent people would be brought to justice and punished.

Prime Minister Imran Khan also formed a five-member committee of federal ministers to maintain law and order in the federal government. Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid is the convener of the committee while Law Minister Forough Naseem, Defense Minister Pervez Khattak, Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood and Planning Minister Asad Umar will be a member of the committee.

The Interior Ministry has issued a formal notification to the committee. The committee will monitor the law and order situation in the federal capital and all kinds of protests and find a solution.
