An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister in which Special Assistant for Home and Accountability Shehzad Akbar gave a briefing on the Broadsheet case. The Prime Minister directed that the issue of Broadsheet should be brought before the people in detail and all the facts should be brought before the people.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the Broadsheet Company was investigating the assets of 20 years ago. The Prime Minister also set up a committee on the broadsheet issue, comprising Fawad Chaudhry, Sherry Mazari, Babar Awan and Shehzad Akbar.
Briefing on the PDM the protest, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said that the protest was allowed within the ambit of constitution and law. The Prime Minister said that the issue of foreign funding was raised by the Election Commission, adding that PTI was the only party which came into being with the funding of the people.
