Corona’s second wave, new advisory issued to those coming to Pakistan from abroad
In view of the rapid rise in the second wave of global epidemic, a new advisory has been issued for travelers coming to Pakistan from abroad. The countries have been divided into three categories regarding the condition of corona test.
According to the advisory issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), passengers from 21 countries in Category A have been exempted from PCR test. Citizens from countries from Australia, China have been exempted from corona test. While, citizens of Cuba, Finland, Iceland, Fiji, Japan, Kazakhstan, Laos and Malawi are also exempted from Covid test.
Passengers from New Zealand, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Rwanda, Namibia, Senegal and Vietnam also do not need to undergo corona test, however, corona test for category B countries Negative reporting is required.
For those coming to Pakistan from Category B countries, a negative report of Corona test conducted 96 hours before the journey has been made mandatory, according to CAA adviaory. While, passengers coming from Denmark will be tested again before arrival and after reaching Pakistan.
