Croatian FM to Make First-Ever Official Visit to Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Dr. Gordan Grlić Radman will arrive in Pakistan on Thursday for the first-ever official visit by a Croatian foreign minister, the Foreign Office said.

During the visit, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will hold delegation-level talks with his Croatian counterpart to review the full spectrum of bilateral relations and discuss ways to expand cooperation in trade, investment, visa facilitation, education, defence, information technology and maritime affairs.

The two sides will also exchange views on regional and international developments of mutual interest and explore avenues to strengthen diplomatic and economic engagement between the two countries.

Dr. Grlić Radman is also scheduled to call on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani during his stay.

According to the Foreign Office, the high-level visit is expected to give fresh impetus to Pakistan-Croatia relations and promote cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
