PESHAWAR: Eight people were gunned down and two others injured over a monetary dispute in Peshawar on Tuesday, police said.
According to the police, armed men entered the house of their rivals and opened indiscriminate firing with sophisticated weapons.
As a result, eight people including four women and four children died. The armed men then escaped. The incident occured in the Badabher locality of Peshawar. The two groups had a dispute over payment of money.
Police said that the dead bodies have been shifted to hospital for postmortem and a case has been registered against the killers. However, no arrest has been made so far.
