TEL AVIV: An emergency has been declared at Ben Gurion Airport following reported Iranian missile attacks targeting key Israeli military installations.

According to Iranian media, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for striking Israeli airbases, including Tel Nof Airbase and Nevatim Airbase, early Monday morning.

The IRGC stated that the operation was carried out in retaliation for alleged Israeli missile attacks on radar installations inside Iran. It added that expanding the scope of targets was part of its strategy and warned of a “more destructive response” if further aggression occurs.

Meanwhile, regional media reported explosions in Tel Aviv, with missile debris reportedly falling in several areas of central Israel. Following the attacks, authorities imposed emergency measures at Ben Gurion Airport as a precaution.

Israeli officials have acknowledged the strikes but have yet to release detailed information regarding damage or casualties.

The situation remains tense as both sides continue to exchange warnings, raising concerns about further escalation in the region.
