ISLAMABAD: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan presented President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif with one Turkish-made electric car each as gifts here on Thursday.
Prime Minister Sharif drove the Turkish electric car himself with the Turkish president taking the seat next to him.
The Turkish president also gifted a car to President Zardari which was driven by First Lady Asifa Bhutto Zardari while the spouse of the Turkish president sat in the front seat with Asifa and President Zardari in the back seat.
President Zardari and Prime Minister Sharif thanked the Turkish president for the gifts.
President Erdogan had also gifted a Turkish-made electric car to the Malaysian president during his visit to Malaysia before coming to Pakistan.
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim drove the car with the Turkish president and the interesting conversation between the two leaders on the occasion also went viral on social media.
