Indian Coast Guard Detains Nine Pakistani Fishermen

KARACHI: The Indian Coast Guard has detained nine Pakistani fishermen after seizing their boat in the Arabian Sea. Authorities recovered approximately 500 kilograms of fish and fishing equipment from the vessel.

According to the officer in charge of the Coastal Media Center, the detained fishermen belong to Ibrahim Haidri. No illegal or suspicious items were found on the boat.

The incident occurred in open waters near Gujarat, while the fishermen were reportedly operating in their traditional fishing areas.

The Coastal Media Center stated that  investigations are underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the seizure.
