TEHRAN: Iran has warned United Arab Emirates against deepening relations with Israel, cautioning that Tehran’s patience has limits.
According to reports, senior Iranian official Mohsen Rezaei said Iran has not closed the door to friendly ties with the UAE but urged Abu Dhabi to avoid being drawn into what he termed Israeli agendas.
He added that Iran seeks peaceful and cooperative relations with regional countries, stressing that the Strait of Hormuz remains open for trade but not for actions that could fuel instability or conflict.
The warning comes amid heightened regional tensions and reports of evolving ties between the UAE and Israel, with Iranian officials previously accusing Abu Dhabi of involvement in anti-Iran activities.
