MUZAFFARABAD: Justice Raza Ali Khan was sworn in as the Acting Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
The oath was administered by Supreme Court Judge Justice Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry during a ceremony held at the Supreme Court building.
Justice Raza Ali Khan will perform the duties of Acting Chief Justice during the ex-Pakistan leave of Chief Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan.
The ceremony was attended by the Chief Justice of the AJK High Court, the Chief Election Commissioner, former judges, senior lawyers and judicial officers.
Secretary Law Muhammad Idrees Abbasi read out the notification regarding the appointment of the Acting Chief Justice before the oath-taking ceremony.
