LONDON: Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai gas once again called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, urging the international community to play its role in saving the Palestinian people from further destruction.

In her social media posts, the Pakistani activist said she was saddened over the latest attack by Israeli forces on a school in which 26 persons were killed. The Israeli forces raided a school run hy a welfare organization where displaced persons were given shelter. In the attack, over 50 people were also injured.

She said the over nine months long war by Israel has killed over 38,000 people and brought destruction to Gaza.

She said the world should not remain silent over violations of international human rights abd killing of innocent people including women and children.

It must be noted that Israel has completely disregarded ceasefire calls even by the United Nations Security Council and ruling by the world court and continues killing of innocent and unarmed Palestinian people including women and children.

The Zionist state has even ignored public protests in the West and inside Israel to stop the war, as by it is backed by the US and other power.

On the other hand, Muslim countries ruled by puppets of the US remain as a silent spectator because they have their interests and survival linked to the US.
