ISLAMABAD: Balochistan National Party (BNP-M) chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal met Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Thursday to discuss the country’s political situation and the deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan.
Mengal, accompanied by a delegation, called on the JUI-F chief at his residence in Islamabad.
According to JUI-F spokesperson Aslam Ghauri, the two leaders expressed deep concern over the worsening security situation in Balochistan and agreed that the prevailing law and order conditions were not encouraging for the country’s future.
They also discussed the overall political environment and agreed that the existing hybrid system had adversely affected both Pakistan’s economy and its security situation, the spokesperson said.
