ISLAMABAD: As large numbers of Pakistanis leave their country illegally, they are caught and jailed in different countries and ultimately deported.
In the recent months, such actions have been a expedited and arrival of the Pakistani deportees continue in Karachi, Islamabad and other cities.
Yesterday, 173 Pakistanis were deported from 11 countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Oman, returned to the country and 24 of them were arrested in Karachi.
According to immigration sources, 94 Pakistanis were deported after being detained in Saudi Arabia for begging, drug trafficking, illegal stay, working without a sponsor, absconding from employment and violating the agreement.
Three people were deported from Oman, one from Thailand, nine from Iraq, two each from Britain and Cyprus, five from Mauritania for human trafficking, four from Indonesia, two from Qatar for low-cost travel, and one from Tanzania.
In the last 48 hours, 39 Pakistanis, including seven blacklisted persons, were sent to Karachi on charges of illegal work and other charges.
