Naqvi, BD Counterpart Agree to Boost Cooperation in Key Sectors

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Bangladesh’s Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed and agreed to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

According to details, the two ministers held detailed discussions on the Iran-US conflict and the prevailing situation in the Middle East.

They also discussed training and exchange programmes for police officers and agreed to strengthen cooperation to combat cybercrime and online fraud.

The Bangladeshi interior minister appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional peace.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said that, by the grace of Allah, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir had played an unforgettable role in promoting peace.

He added that both countries should seize new opportunities to further strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation.
