ISLAMABAD: The government of United Arab Emirates has announced new visa guidelines for those desiring to visit the country.
According to a spokesperson of the UAE Embassy, the visa fee has been fixed at $69 per person. All applications must be submitted online.
The spokesperson said that a notification will be issued after an applicant submit their application for a visa and applicants will have to csrry the necessary documents with them.
The spokesman for the UAE embassy said bank statements of the applicant must have at least 5,000 US dollars or an equivalent amount in their account. Proof of hotel booking or accommodation must be provided when submitting the application to the embassy, along with a confirmed return ticket.
The passport for the visa must be valid for at least six months and the visa fee must be deposited in the specified al-Falah Bank account.
Apart from this, new guidelines have also been issued regarding children’s visas.
Children under the age of five do not need to go to the visa center, while children from six to 15 years will be photographed at the visa center. Children 15 years of age or older will have to visit the Visa Center.
According to the spokesperson, the process of biometric verification and visa processing will be completed at the visa center.
