ISLAMABAD: One minute’s silence will be observed across the country and Azad Kashmir at 10am on February 5 which is observed as the Kashmir Solidarity Day every year.
The government on Friday issued a notification declaring February 5th as a public holiday.
The Kashmir Solidarity Day is observed by the nation to renew its unflinching support to the struggle of the people of Kashmir for their birth right to Self-determination and against Indian illegal occupation of their land.
it’s also a reminder to the international community to fulfill its commitment made at the UN over seven decades ago.
Rallies and seminars will be held in Pakistan, Azad Kashmir and other parts of the world on February 5.
