Slogan of change cost Pakistan dearly, says Nawaz

If elected to power, we will put country back on track and end inflation and unemployment.

BUREWALA (PUNJAB): Former prime minister and supreme leader of PML-N Nawaz Sharif on Friday said that [PTI’s] slogan of change cost Pakistan dearly as today neither there is electricity nor gas and inflation has broken the back of the common people.

Addressing an election-related public gathering of the PML-N, he said that when he was the prime minister Pakistan was on the track of development and progress but all of a sudden the power that be sacked him from the slot of prime minister and brought in an inexperienced person who made everything topsy-turvy.

He said the nation today remembers that all edibles items were around 50 to 100 per cent cheaper when he was in power. He blamed the previous government of the PTI for the economic issues including inflation and unemployment and promised to make a quick turnaround if elected power once again.

The former prime minister said that the presence of a large number of youth in the public gathering showed that they pinned great hope in his party which will meet their expectations.
