LAUDERHILL FLORIDA: Pakistan defeated West Indies by 14 runs in the third and final T20I to clinch the three-match series 2-1.
The match was played at Central Broward Park in Lauderhill, where Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and elected to bat first.
Batting first, Pakistan posted 189 for 4 in their allotted 20 overs. The innings was anchored by two commanding half-centuries, with key contributions throughout the top order. West Indies, in reply, managed 176 for 6, falling short of the 190-run target despite late efforts in the chase.
Hasan Nawaz scored 15, Mohammad Haris made 2, while Khushdil Shah and Faheem Ashraf remained unbeaten on 11 and 10 respectively. Jason Holder, Roston Chase, and Shamar Joseph each took a wicket for West Indies.
Pakistan made two changes in the playing XI for the final match, bringing in Haris Rauf for Shaheen Afridi and Khushdil Shah for Fakhar Zaman.
With the series level at 1-1 before the decider, Pakistan’s all-round performance in this match secured them the series victory on U.S. soil.
