PM Anwar Ibrahim of Malaysia due in Islamabad on Oct 2

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim of Malaysia is expected to arrive on a three-day official visit to Pakistan on October 2 on the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The Malaysian prime minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim will be accompanied by

A high-level delegation of ministers, deputy ministers and senior officials will be accompanying the Malaysian prime minister, according to state media in Islamabad.

During the visit, Pakistan and Malaysia will discuss measures to expand bilateral ties in different sectors such as trade, connectivity, energy, agriculture, halal industry, tourism and  cultural exchanges.

Pakistan and Malaysia have close relations and have been exchanging delegations to open up new avenues for trade and investment.The visit of the Malaysian prime minister on the invitation of his counterpart will further boost the relations.
