BRUSSELES: Against all norms and international conventions, Israel has not only killed civilians but also bombed hospitals and even refugee camps.
The blatant violations of human rights and international law by the Zionist state are a result of backing from the West, especially US and the UK.
These powers always claim to be champions of democracy and human rights and put sanctions on poor nations but the Israeli atrocities and killing of civilization, patients and refugee women and children have failed to prick its conscience.
Many nations have called for a halt to the Israeli madness but to no avail.
Today, Belgium has called for sanctions against Israel and probe into bombings of hospitals and refugee camps in Gaza.
In an interview, Belgian Deputy Prime Minister Petra De Sutter said an import ban on Israeli products should be implemented and those responsible for war crimes should be banned from entering the EU.
