DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Security forces killed seven terrorists, including three Afghan nationals and two suicide bombers, during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
According to ISPR, the terrorists belonged to Fitna al-Khwarij, an Indian-sponsored proxy group. Acting on credible intelligence, security forces targeted the militants’ hideout and engaged them effectively. As a result, the terrorists were eliminated.
The ISPR further stated that Pakistan expects the Interim Afghan Government to fulfill its responsibilities by ensuring Afghan soil is not used for terrorism against Pakistan.
A sanitization operation is currently underway to clear the area of any remaining threats. Security forces reaffirmed their resolve to eradicate Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country.
